Making the decision to add college courses and student responsibilities to an already full adult life can be especially challenging. The Span Plan Adult Student Services Program, through the Office of the Dean of Students, supports the needs of adult, nontraditional students currently enrolled at Purdue University as well as those students wishing to attend Purdue. We serve adult students as well as traditional students who are married and/or have dependent children. The Span Plan Program provides services including academic, career, and personal counseling to assist and encourage adult students in their academic goals at Purdue.

At Span Plan we understand that adult students have important obligations outside of their academic responsibilities and therefore strive to provide a continuum of services that increase an adult student's opportunity to be successful at Purdue. We work with adult students at the beginning of their education through graduation as well as into their careers. Span Plan provides career and job search services to current students as well as our alumni.
