Adaptive Programs and TAEVIS Merge Under New Name
December 17, 2007 Purdue University – West Lafayette.
The Office of the Dean of Students would like to announce the merger of Adaptive Programs and TAEVIS. Effective 01/02/08, the two ODOS units will merge to create the "Disability Resource
Center".
The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive campus community that provides academic adjustments and services to enable students with
disabilities to fully participate in all university sponsored programs and activities. The DRC also serves as a resource to the campus community at large regarding disability information and
referral. The DRC will continue to provide the same services that were offered by Adaptive Programs and TAEVIS. The new unit will continue to be located on the 8th floor of Ernest C. Young
Hall, Room 830. For additional information, please contact the Disability Resource Center at (765)494-1247 v/tty.
