With nine offices across the state, Purdue's Technical Assistance Program supports Indiana companies by making a team of faculty, staff and students available for assistance with product development, advanced
manufacturing, information technology and management issues. Its new Energy Efficiency Services initiative also helps companies save money byreducing energy consumption. TAP works with more than 400 companies each year. Economic impacts reported by companies for fiscal year 2006-07
reached new records with increased sales of $38.8 million, retained sales of $30.2 million, cost savings of $6.32 million, capital investments of $6.8 million 547 new or retained jobs.
