Both the PI’s home department and the Discovery Park Center Director must approve all new positions created with the intention of full or partial funding from a Discovery Park account. (This includes offer letters if it is a Discovery Park appointment)
Form 10 (job description) should be prepared and signatures obtained in the PI’s home department and then routed to the Discovery Park business manager for signature. If the position is fully funded with Discovery Park funds, the Form 10 should reflect the position in the appropriate Discovery Park department number.
