The Span Plan Adult Student Services Program administers grants strictly for part-time nontraditional undergraduate students each semester. The grant pays for a 3 credit hour class and a partial stipend towards books. If you are unsure whether you qualify as a nontraditional student, or if you have questions regarding the Span Plan Grant or other services for nontraditional students please call the Span Plan office at (765) 494-1257.
To apply, please fill out the application on the Dean of Students' Span Plan Grant Program page (you can also find out more about the Span Plan Grant Program on this page). The deadline to apply for the summer 2008 grant is April 15, 2008. The deadline for the fall 2008 grant is July 15, 2008.
