Diane Winter earned her BBA with a major in accounting from Eastern Michigan University. She has dedicated her 28-year career to The University of Michigan in the Financial Operations Department. Diane’s accounting experience includes General Fund, Sponsored, Gift Fund, Designated Fund, Travel Audit, Endowment, Financial Reports, Banking and Cost Accounting. Diane has conducted numerous training programs on Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Compliance, Effort Reporting, and Fiscal Responsibility. She also speaks nationally on Accounting and Compliance issues, Effort Reporting, and Facilities & Administrative Cost Proposals. Diane is an alumnus of CACUBO’s Collegiate Management Institute and has been on staff since 1997.
