Morris W. Beverage, Jr.

EDM, President of Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, OH. Beverage holds an Associate of Arts degree from Lakeland Community College, a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degree from Lake Erie College, and is a licensed CPA in the State of Ohio. He earned his Executive Doctor of Management degree from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.

Beverage's professional experiences include serving as Lakeland's Vice President for Administrative Services & Treasurer for 11 years prior to becoming president. Before joining Lakeland, Dr. Beverage was the Director of Finance for the City of Mentor, an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Company in Cleveland, and Manager of Finance at Fredon Corporation in Mentor.

He has served as the President of CACUBO, the Central Association of College and University Business Officers. He is the third two-year college person to serve in this role in the association's 94-year history. CACUBO is a 17-state regional association with nearly 700 members representing public and private two- and four-year colleges and universities. He also recently completed a three-year term as a member of the Board of Directors of NACUBO, the National Association of College and University Business Officers.

Dr. Beverage serves on the National Governors' Association State Policy Academy and is co-chair for the Regional Workforce Partnership. Locally he serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland Inc., the Lake County Economic Development Board and the Board of Directors of Leadership Lake County.
