Farm Names

In order to avoid confusion and to facilitate effective communication, particularly between the various areas in Agriculture and the Business Offices, it seems desirable to set forth standard official names for instructional and research farms operated by various areas of the University.

A number of farms are composed of several subunits or smaller farms, all of which are detailed in this memorandum. If references are made to subunits of a larger farm, the writer should be careful to make clear the name of the larger encompassing farm as well as the name of the subunit.
