Increase in Stipend for Graduate Teaching Assistants (Half Time) and Graduate Research Assistants (Half Time) 1957-58 Academic Year

President Hovde has approved the recommendation of the Committee on Graduate Student Employment and Subsidy to increase the stipend for graduate teaching assistants (half time) and graduate research assistants (half time) to $1, 700 for the academic year 1957-58. This will set the stipend at $170 per month on a ten-month basis.

The stipend for graduate assistants will remain at $140 per month.
