Establishment of Office of Property Accounting

In order to improve the University's equipment inventory system and to make our inventory system for equipment belonging to the Federal Government conform with the requirements of the research contracts and regulations, the Office of Property Accounting has been established. The work of this office will be under the administrative supervision of Mr. Henry B. Abbett, Director of Procurement and Service Enterprises. Mr. J. J. Faulkner will be the Property Accounting Officer.

It is hoped that our entire inventory system will be of greater service to all concerned when the required changes are made.

Procedure governing the changes will be transmitted to you within a short time.
