Employee Classification System
BACKGROUND
The employee classification system was established by Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Memorandum No. 145 for the purpose of implementing a new Personnel Records System. Over time, modifications to the classification system occurred and Business Office Memorandum No. 181 was issued in 1989 to recognize these changes. New changes in our employment policies now necessitate a further updating of this listing of classifications for monthly employees.
SUMMARY
The major change includes the addition of the new classification for Clinical/Professional Faculty. In addition, this document provides a general updating of classifications and legend definitions to reflect current usage and practice.
