Disposal of Obsolete Materials in Files
A Check in several departments of the University reveals that an excessive amount of filing space contains obsolete material. Such material should be disposed of to make the space available for more current material and to reduce the need for the purchase of additional filing cabinets.
Copies of all business forms dated prior to June 30, 1949, and all correspondence relating thereto should be destroyed. Following is a list of business office forms which may not be complete, but may be used as a guide for the disposition of the copies of the forms listed or similar forms and related correspondence.
