BBD head and other cool items now up for auction

Tau Beta Sigma is holding an on-line auction of Purdue Band items that, until now, have not been available to the alumni and public.  Proceeds from the auction will be used to construct a storage shed on the band practice field.  This will allow ladders, yard-line markers and other equipment to be stored at the field instead of being moved from Elliott Hall every day.  Items available include a vintage field drum filled with Band CDs and beanie gifts, a complete current marching band uniform, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to obtain a Big Bass Drum head.  Bidding is open and will continue until 11:59 p.m. Oct. 26 during the Alumni BBQ outside Elliott Hall (all times are Eastern Daylight).  Check out the auction site for more details: http://www.purdue.edu/bands/auction/
