Golduster with Golfers

Come for Boilermaker football on Sept. 15, and stay for golf Sunday morning, Sept. 16, when the Purdue Twirlers and Golduster Dancers stage a Benefit Golf Scramble at Purdue's acclaimed Ackermann Hills Golf Course.

Cost is $85 per golfer and proceeds benefit the Auxiliaries' trip to the Wide World of Sports Twirlmania in Orlando, FL, in February 2008. (In 2003, our Auxiliaries came home with a trophy for "Corps of the Year," as well as a First Place Pom Award.) The groups will also give performances in Walt Disney World's various parks.

To keep things lively at the Golf Scramble, costumed twirlers and dancers will greet golfers at each hole. Anyone who hits a hole in one will get to hit the Big Bass Drum and will receive a photograph of him or herself hitting it.

All golfers should be ready to tee up at 9 a.m. at the Voinoff Pavilion on Sept. 16. Lunch is included in your registration fee and the Goldusters and Twirlers will perform at the luncheon.

Registration deadline for the Benefit Golf Scramble is Sept. 1. Click here to register on-line.

If you have questions, please contact Auxiliaries Director Alisha Kuckartz, alishak@purdue.edu or (765) 463-2361
