At the present moment we are the 10th largest ServiceMaster Franchise in the United States.

Another limb of our portfolio is TNC Development. This company purchases raw land and develops it into subdivisions and constructs spec houses. This company is also throughout Wisconsin.
The last twig of our portfolio is RevTech Industries. This company manufactures race car chassis (modifieds and late models) for dirt racing. Our cars race all over the United States including Race Week at the Daytona 500. We also manufacture race trailers and race transporters (coaches).
Past jobs/life situations that have contributed to the richness of my life: For the past ten years we have been self employed as business owners - through our determination and aggressive goals we have achieved a level of respect within our industries. We feel that we can achieve the same amount of success in the next ten years.
Hobbies/passions that I enjoy: Spending time with my children and family. My children are very young and it is important to us that we spend as much quality time with them as we can. We take them everywhere with us while we are traveling with my husband. He spends a majority of his time traveling to car races through the country. It is important to us that we instill positive family morals with our children and make everything a family event.
What made/makes the Golden Girl position so special: Through years of support from my Mother and Father it was a life long dream that really came true for me as well as my parents. It was an incredible experience that I would not have traded for anything in the world except for my husband and children. Today, I think the position can be and should be looked as an ambassador of Purdue. This position can be made into anything any Golden Girl wants to achieve (just as any job position can be made). For example, when I was Golden Girl, my position was Just Say No. Because my hometown was not very far from the campus, I was able to make many appearances in my hometown local schools. I was able to help educate children on how to say Just No. By showcasing my twirling talent, I was able to lead the way for young minds to find outlets to be creative and use their own talents in positive situations. I was also fortunate enough to be able to support the Special Olympics events as well as some senior programs in the Lafayette area. I believe the key that makes the Golden Girl position so special is by allowing her to give back to the community and pursue those community interests that she has a passion for pursuing.
How being Golden Girl has shaped/impacted my life beyond Purdue: At the time, although I did not know it, my experiences during my year as golden girl would impact life in several areas. The position taught me to draw on my inner self to accomplish many goals that I did not think were possible. From my Golden Girl experiences, I found that with a positive attitude, strong morals, and a sound work ethic anything is possible no matter what actions or remarks people are making around you. Because in the end, you have to make yourself happy and be comfortable with the decisions that have made at the end of the day. My husband and I share the same morals and work ethics and because of this we purchased our first franchise ten years ago with 3 employees and have expanded our business base by six different companies and over fifty employees. Without the Golden Girl position illustrating to me that anything is possible with hard work, I believe I would still be searching for that life long experience.
Favorite memories from being Golden Girl: I don't know if I have any particular memories from being Golden Girl other than the feeling it was a privilege of being part of the All-American Band and the strong heritage and traditions that it stands for. Although I do have to mention that it was very cool to be part of the Indianapolis 500 and now having the current ties that my husband and I have to the racing industry makes that memory much more special.
