Day on Campus Switches

During Day on Campus, admitted students may ask whether they can switch schools. Movement between some colleges/schools is possible.

The table below provides the most current information about programs into which students can and cannot switch. Please refer to this before sending students to the Office of Admissions. This table will be updated as necessary. Once a program is closed, it will not reopen.

Students interested in switching must meet the admissions requirements of the school/program they wish to enter and should visit the Office of Admissions to officially request the switch and be evaluated.

This year you will notice additional information for some programs regarding switches. If you do not have access to a student's academic information, please have the student call the Office of Admissions before sending him/her to Schleman Hall.

Students who were not admitted to their first-choice major for academic reasons will not be switched into that program. Students who were admitted to their second choice because of space concerns for their first choice may be considered for a switch if space is available. However, we highly recommend these students call Admissions, 494-1776, to assess the possibility before making a trip to Schleman Hall.
