Class Visits
Purdue visitors may want to customize their day by attending a class with or without a current student.
On Your Own
Students may attend a class through the Independent Class Visit program. Choose a class of interest and arrive at Purdue University, Office of Admissions, Schleman Hall, Room 109, approximately 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the class you wish to attend. Fill out an Independent Class Visit permission form to give to the professor 10 – 15 minutes prior to the beginning of class. Plan to attend the entire class so you will not disturb the professor or the students taking the class.
Click here for the current schedule of classes. Please see available dates at the top of the schedule. Also we ask that you honor special requests in the notes column, such as days guests should not visit because of exams.
With a Student Host
You also may attend a class with a current Purdue student (not necessarily one of the independent visit classes on the schedule above). To make arrangements, contact the Office of Admissions, admissions@purdue.edu, (765) 494-1776 at least two weeks prior to your visit. We will do our best to match you with a student host according to your academic interests.
Online
Some Purdue classes are also available via podcasting or streaming audio. Visit Boilercast for more information or to listen to a class online
