Purdue University will implement several critical changes for students who will apply for 2009 enrollment. Changes including application and scholarship deadlines, admission notification dates, and housing processes and deadlines, will affect all beginning students who plan to apply for 2009. Below is a summary of changes and important information for future Purdue students.
Admission Application Deadlines |

Scholarship Deadlines |

Admission application deadline for beginning students who want to be considered for scholarships. Learn more about Purdue scholarships. |
| January 1, 2009 |

Firm deadline for students who have met the November 15 admission application deadline to submit new test scores for scholarship consideration. New scores must be sent electronically from the testing agency. |
Admissions Decision Release Dates |
| December 5, 2008 |
|
Initial admission decisions released (available online after 5 p.m.). Release date applies to beginning students applying for fall semester only. Decisions are not guaranteed by December 5. |
| December 8, 2008 |
|
After this date, admission decisions will be released on a rolling basis - released daily after decisions made. |
On-Campus Housing Deadline |
| March 1, 2009 |
|
Preferred housing application deadline for fall 2009. When applying for on-campus housing, admitted students must submit a nonrefundable $100 housing application processing fee. |
| May 1, 2009 |
|
Final date to apply for fall 2009 on-campus housing to be included in the initial housing assignment process. Students who apply after this date will receive on-campus housing assignments if space remains available. |
| May 1, 2009 |
|
After this date, students who have applied for housing will be assigned a random number to establish their order in the room assignment sequence. |
| Early June 2009 |
|
Students who applied for housing before May 1 will receive housing assignments. |
